Florenza Victoria Greynald passed away at home, surrounded by friends and family on August 3, 2014. The funeral service for Mrs. Greynald will begin at 10 am Friday, August 8, 2014, at St. George Orthodox Christian Church (10748 E. 116th Street, Fishers). She was born on April 20, 1924, in Ploiesti, Romania, to Victor and Eugenia Bratucu. She had a brilliant intellect and a wonderful sense of humor. She went to law school in Bucharest but had to flee Communist Romania. She was a born leader and a gifted orator with a passion for politics and conservative values. She was never at a loss for words and had strong opinions about everything in life. She was fearless in defense of what she believed in. Florenza was a true cosmopolitan figure, having lived in Romania, Paris, Rome, Mexico City, Caracas and Los Angeles (for over thirty years) before she finally made her home in the Indianapolis area. She also travelled extensively throughout her life. She loved animals, and, when she was in good health, she was an avid gardener who preferred to be in the yard most of the time. She was deeply loved and will be missed. She is survived by her daughter Jacqueline Fergot, son-in-law Dion Fergot and grandson Tristan Eicholz. The funeral service for Mrs. Greynald will begin at 10 am Friday, August 8, 2014, at St. George Orthodox Christian Church (10748 E. 116th Street, Fishers). In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. George Church. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Indiana Funeral Care and Crematory.
